This guide explains the most common reasons why a withdrawal request may be rejected and how to fix them.
⚠️ Common Reasons for Rejection
Incorrect Bank Details
Make sure your bank details are entered correctly:
- Sort Code (UK): 6 digits (e.g. 123456)
- Account Number (UK): 8 digits (e.g. 12345678)
- IBAN (International): Enter exactly as provided by your bank
Common Mistakes:
- Typing numbers incorrectly
- Adding spaces or special characters
- Using outdated bank details
👉 How to fix:
Check your details against your bank statement or online banking and update them exactly as shown
Name Mismatch
- The name on your withdrawal request must match your bank account exactly
Example:
- Bank card: J. A. Smith
- Bank account: John Alexander Smith
👉 These must match your full legal name, not the shortened version
👉 How to fix:
- Check your bank account name via your bank
- Under your name to match exactly when making a withdrawal
Unsupported Characters
- Only use:
- Letters (A–Z)
- Numbers (0–9)
Avoid:
- Accents (é, ç, ñ)
- Symbols (!, @, #, etc.)
👉 How to fix:
- Replace accented characters (e.g. é → e)
- Remove any special symbols
