How to Confirm the Prize to Winners

As a Host on Raffall, you are required to confirm the prize for your competition winners within 7 days after the draw ends. This ensures transparency and efficiency in the prize distribution process. Below is a step-by-step guide to confirming the prize and important information regarding your responsibilities.

 

Why Do I Need to Confirm the Prize?

Confirming the prize is essential to let the winner know what they will receive. If you do not confirm the prize within the required timeframe, the prize status will automatically be revoked, and you will forfeit your ticket revenue.

 

How to Confirm the Prize

  1. Log into Your Raffall Account

  2. Navigate to Your Raffalls

    • Click on ‘Your Raffles’ and go to the ‘Ended’ section.

  3. View the Winners

    • Click on ‘Options’ next to the relevant raffle and then select ‘View Winners’.

  4. Choose the Prize Confirmation Option

    • Yyou will see a prompt asking you to confirm the prize. You will have the following options:

      If the competition had no minimum ticket target, or the target was met:

      • "Prize as advertised" – This means you will provide the prize exactly as listed in your competition.

      • "Revoke prize" – This means you will not provide the prize, and the winner will be entitled to their share of the cash compensation. In this case, you will not receive any payment from ticket sales.

      If the competition had a minimum ticket target that was not met:

      • "Prize as advertised" – You choose to provide the prize as originally listed.

      • "50% of revenue" – The winner will receive 50% of the total ticket revenue as cash compensation.

  5. Submit Your Selection

    • After selecting your option, confirm your choice. The winner will be notified immediately.

 

What Happens If I Don’t Confirm the Prize?

  • If you fail to confirm the prize within 7 days, the prize status will automatically be revoked.

  • You will not receive payment from ticket sales.

  • The winner will automatically receive 75% of the ticket revenue as compensation.

 

Important Notes for Hosts

  • You cannot change your selection once you have confirmed the prize.

  • If you select "Prize as advertised", you must ensure the winner receives the prize promptly.

  • Once you confirm "Prize as advertised", the winner has 21 days from the time they are notified to either accept or dispute the prize. If they do not take action within this period, the prize will be considered accepted.

  • If the winner has any issues with the prize delivery, they can dispute the outcome through Raffall’s dispute resolution process.

  • It is in your best interest to ensure that the prize is delivered and acknowledged within this timeframe to avoid potential disputes.
